II Forum of ATU Alumni
On April 6, the 2nd Alumni Forum of Almaty Technological University, titled "To the Future: Spiritual Renewal" and the Job Fair "Choose Your Path," took place. The goal of the forum was to bring together different generations of graduates and strengthen the connection between the university and its alumni.
Graduates from various years, who now hold positions in government bodies, are founders and leaders of well-known companies, and individual entrepreneurs, shared their experiences, offered advice, and wished success to the future graduates. Guests also had the opportunity to learn about the activities of the Corporate Fund "Endowment ATU," established at the initiative of the Alumni Association and the ATU Board of Trustees.
As part of the Forum, the Job Fair took place, where the main goal was to bring alumni together with employers. This event provided a great opportunity for employers to meet young professionals, while graduates gained insight into the current demand for specific professions and information on vacancies that employers are ready to offer this year.
The III Alumni Forum of ATU Took Place in Almaty
On April 19, the III Alumni Forum was held at Almaty Technological University, with graduates from various years taking part.
Today, these alumni include heads of production companies, government officials, private entrepreneurs, and public figures.
The main purpose of the Forum was to unite different generations of alumni, strengthen the connection between the university and its graduates.
The event was opened with a welcoming speech by ATU Rector, Academician Talgat Kulazhanov: "Our graduates are the pride of the university and the main result of our work. Over the years, the university has trained and graduated more than 55,000 highly qualified specialists who contribute to the development of the country's economy. Our university has created a dynasty, where one generation follows the professional path of another. We are proud of this, as thanks to the knowledge acquired at Alma Mater, you have achieved a high level in your profession and career. This is why ATU ranks among the top five technical universities in Kazakhstan. Our graduates work in every corner of our republic. Based on our experience working with you, we continue to pass on this knowledge to our students," said the university's first vice-rector in his message to the alumni.
The Forum guests were given a detailed presentation about the activities of the ATU Alumni Association, which aims to maintain the university's corporate spirit, values, and image, create a community of professionals and enthusiasts, and identify joint projects and growth opportunities.
They also learned about the work of the Corporate Fund "Endowment ATU," established at the initiative of the Alumni Association and the ATU Board of Trustees. The Fund’s resources, contributed by alumni and business partners, are directed toward supporting the talented youth of the university. In recognition of their significant contribution to the formation of the "Endowment ATU" Fund, Rector Talgat Kulazhanov awarded the "Gold Patron" Medal to the patrons in the "Gold" registry.
Throughout the event, talented students entertained the guests with dance and vocal performances.
