Rector of the ATU, academician Talgat Kulalbekovich Kulazhanov, first pro-rector, professor Baurzhan Kumargaliyevich Nurakhmetov, chairman of the ATU Board of Trustees, professor Rudik Gaykovich Mnatsakanyan, chairman of the Alumni Association, fashion designer Aida Kaumenova, managing director and member of the Board of the DAMU fund Alena Valeryevna Finogenova delivered a welcoming speech at the Forum.

The main ideas for the Alumni Forum were the consolidation of different generations of graduates from the university, strengthening the ties between the university and graduates. Guests of the Forum were told about the activities of the Alumni Association of ATU and the Board of Trustees, as well as the establishment of the development fund of the University "Endowment ATU".

Speakers appealed to the graduates with a proposal to join the Association, whose goal is to maintain the corporate spirit, values and image of the university, create a community of professionals and enthusiasts, identify joint projects and opportunities for growth.

The guests also got acquainted with the work of the corporate foundation "Endowment ATU", established on the eve of the 60th anniversary of the university at the initiative of the Association of Alumni and the Board of Trustees of ATU. The Fund's financial resources will be used to support talented youth, researches, socially vulnerable students and other significant goals.

Throughout the evening students and teachers performed with vocal and dance numbers, the university team of KVN "ATU Kuramasy" cheered up the guests, and at the end of the meeting the choir of ATU performed the anthem of the university.
