The corporate fund Endowment ATU was established on February 8, 2017 at the initiative of the Alumni Association of Almaty Technological University. Its chairman is a famous Kazakh designer Aida Kaumenova, a graduate of the university

The Fund is a non-profit organization recognized by the legal entity of the Republic of Kazakhstan by the Joint Stock Company Almaty Technological University on the basis of voluntarily made by property contributions to achieve educational, scientific, social, charitable, cultural and other public benefit purposes in favor and interests of the Almaty Technological University, and also in order to support scientists, teachers, employees, veterans, students, undergraduates and doctoral students of the university.

The purpose of the Foundation is to create target capital and spend the income from the target capital for the development of ATU, as well as to support and facilitate:

• ATU activities in the sphere of higher and postgraduate education;
• increasing the role of the ATU rating in the world educational space;
• strengthening the material and technical base of ATU;
• modernization of ATU educational programs;
• development of physical culture and sports, health, culture in ATU;
• financing of ATU research activities;
• Improvement of ATU management system;
• development of personnel potential and social support of scientists, employees, teachers, veterans, undergraduates, doctoral students and students of ATU.
